HG (Higher Grounds) is a family of small coffee shops in Gilbert and Apache Junction. Dianna Cameron is the General Manager had the dream to open a coffee shop since she was a little girl, working at her parent’s sandwich shop. The family works together to provide great fresh roasted coffee along side excellent breakfast and lunch items at the Gilbert Location. Their idea is to bring the average joe an amazing cup of joe.
Dianna's son, Evan, is the master roaster at the coffee shop. Four times a week he roasts micro batches on his 10 lb capacity Diedrich Roaster. Coming soon: 20lb capacity Mill City Roaster to Apache Junction.

Since the physical coffee shop may not be in your area for you to pick up beans, or there might be a line to eat pancakes, we have upgraded to an easy online order system. We will always be straight-forward and simple. We are not spending money on expensive packaging and materials. Our focus is to bring you a no-fuss coffee product, quickly, and for a great price.
What shipping carriers do you use?
Currently we are utilizing the United States Postal Service and Fedex.
How can I track my package?
We will send the tracking information to the email address associated with your order once the item has shipped.
What are your shipping rates?
Shipping will depend on your location and weight of order. We offer discounts for larger orders that are bundled together. Flat rate shipping may apply to most orders.
How can I change an order after it is placed?
We recommend immediately emailing email@example.com to apply any changes to order in a timely manner. Changes cannot be applied 24 hours after the order is placed.
How do I return an item or receive a refund?
Apparel and gear can be returned up to 30 days from the date of purchase for in-store credit, a refund, or a replacement. If there is physical damage to the package or you feel it is unsafe to consume, bags of coffee can be returned for equal exchange of the same blend (or a similar blend of equal or lesser value). What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Diners Club debit and credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Amazon Payments.
How safe is it to order online from you?

Do you have a physical location?
Yes, we have two locations that function as a coffee shop/cafe/roasteries. You are able to purchase beans for immediate pick-up between 7:30am-2pm Tuesday - Saturday. This is possible through their online system, or telephone number: 480.821.7020. Please note: The coffee shop, while it is directly related to the online store, is run separately from the immediate food service operations in Gilbert. You may have an order through this site that the physical store in Gilbert may not know about! If you have any detailed questions, about specific orders, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I enter discount codes?
On the last page, before your click "Complete my purchase," there will be a box where you can enter your discount code. Once you have entered the code, click "Apply." Your total amount will be updated to reflect the discount.
Can I use Gift Cards on this site?
No. Currently we are not offering Gift Cards for this online bean purchasing part of HG (Higher Grounds) Roastery and Cafe. Gift Cards purchased at our physical location are NOT applicable on the hgcoffeeaz site.
How do I store my coffee?
We recommend storing your coffee beans in a cool dry place (65 to 70 degrees) with little to no UV light. For long term storage please store your coffee in a refrigerator, in an air tight container, without disruption (meaning: without opening and closing the container), to preserve freshness. We never use any preservatives in our coffees to keep them as natural as possible.
